Fieldwork design for Macquarie School of Education - August 2025
It has been a pleasure to teach the pre-service Primary Teachers and design Syllabus linked fieldwork for the new HSIE K-6 Syllabus (2024). The fieldwork has a strong emphasis on Inquiry Learning and strengthening Geographical and Historical Concepts as well as close links to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultures.

GTA NSW&ACT Conference - May 2025
It was a pleasure to present two sessions at the GTA Conference in Sydney. The sessions were St4&5 Station Accessibility Audit at Wynyard Station and Stage 6, Run-your-own Wetlands fieldwork (EGB).

Alice Springs
Yr10 and Yr11 Fieldwork
During a recent trip to Alice Springs I was able to visit some schools. Students participated in a fieldwork investigation that looked at the relationship between soil moisture and invertebrates in the leaf litter. They were then able to graph and interpret their data, improving numeracy skills.
